Power BI for End Users – Part 1

About: This is part 1 in a 2-part course and is designed to provide participants with a fundamental understanding of the capabilities and tools of Power BI Desktop for report development and beyond. Students will discover how to quickly gather, cleanse and transform data and to enhance results by integrating various data sources.

Prerequisites:  Participants should have a strong knowledge of Excel and have and understanding of data analysis.

Power BI for End Users – Part 2

About: This 1-day course will build on the knowledge from Power BI for End Users – Part 1. Students will learn that to enhance results by integrating disparate data sources and add simple calculations using DAX functions and queries. Participants will create visualizations and incorporate them into dashboards that can provide up to the minute reporting.

Online/Virtual Instructor Led Class Requirements

Training is hands-on, you will require your own machine ready with audio/video capabilities and internet connection.
Class will be held via a Teams meeting with VOIP audio.
You can get by with a single monitor, but two monitors are preferred.

 

Teams test call

To make a test call, select Settings and more next to your profile picture at the top of Teams and then choose Settings Devices.

Choose Make a test call under Audio devices.

Substitutions Permitted
We welcome the enrollment of a qualified substitute in an enrollee’s place provided the customer notifies us via email with a minimum of 2 business days before the first day of the course.

Cancellation
We do not impose any penalty if the customer notifies their Account Coordinator of the need to cancel or reschedule 10 business days prior to the scheduled start date of the course. Full Payment will be required if under 10 business days. If we create a custom course for a specific engagement that is non-standard in content, delivery method, etc., based on specific customer requirements, and the customer cancels the course, we will charge for all incurred customization fees.

Minimum class numbers are required to ensure the class will run on the scheduled date.
