Power Pivot and Power Query for Excel 2016

This course will cover techniques for manipulating and querying data, the structure of DAX functions, ways to distribute and visualize data using Pivot Charts, Slicers, Sparklines, Timelines, Power View and 3D maps.

Prerequisites: Students should be comfortable using the Excel 2016 interface and have a firm understanding of how Excel works and what it is used for. Understanding and experience with formulas, functions, and PivotTables is strongly recommended

Power BI Introduction for End Users - Part 1

This is part 1 in a 2-part course and is designed to provide participants with a fundamental understanding of the capabilities and tools of Power BI Desktop for report development and beyond. Students will discover how to quickly gather, cleanse and transform data and to enhance results by integrating various data sources.

Power BI for End Users – Part 2

This 1-day course will build on the knowledge from Power BI for End Users – Part 1. Students will learn that to enhance results by integrating disparate data sources and add simple calculations using DAX functions and queries. Participants will create visualizations and incorporate them into dashboards that can provide up to the minute reporting.
